Every quantity on an estimate is a measurement linked to its line. You can enter it three ways, and mix them on one job.
- 01
Type it
Lengths and areas on the phone or at the desk. Units: m², m, m³, pieces, hours, job.
- 02
Read it from a Bluetooth laser
Pair the laser once; readings land in the measurement you have open.
- 03
Draw it on the map
Roof and terrace areas from the satellite image before the visit, for a ballpark. Confirm on site before you approve the estimate.
Photos and notes
Attach a photo to a measurement: the wall you will fix to, the gate, where materials will sit. The crew sees these with the job later, so the questions they would ring you about are answered before day one. Each window or door opening can be its own measurement with a size and a photo, linked to its line.
