Most jobs have one or two decisions the customer cares about: a louvred or a fixed pergola roof, the decking grade, garden lighting, irrigation. Instead of deciding for them, put each as a priced option on the proposal page.
- 01
Add the option
On the estimate, mark a line as an option or an add-on and set its price, cost and margin like any other line.
- 02
Choices
Where the customer must pick one of two (roof type), group the lines as a choice. The total updates as they tick.
- 03
What is recorded
The accepted version records exactly which options were chosen. The signed PDF shows them, and the payment plan applies to the chosen total.
