Changing a price in the book never changes a sent estimate. Each estimate carries the prices it was sent with until its validity date.
- A price change is a new version of the book, dated and approved, with who set it and when.
- Supplier price lists are imported weekly; changed costs are flagged with the effect on your margin. You raise your price or accept the lower margin.
- After an estimate expires, Requote creates a new version at today’s supplier prices in one step.
