Nothing is retyped. You upload the file you already have, map its columns to name, unit, price and cost, and confirm each row before it becomes active. A row you have not confirmed cannot be used on an estimate.

  1. 01Export each sheet of your spreadsheet as CSV (Excel: File → Save as → CSV UTF-8). An .xlsx upload works too.
  2. 02In the price book, choose Import and upload the file.
  3. 03Map the columns: name, unit, price, and cost if you track it. Units must be one of m², m, m³, pieces, hours or job.
  4. 04Go through the rows. Fix the unit, check the price, confirm. Leave a price blank if you are not sure; a blank row cannot be quoted by accident.
  5. 05Repeat for the next sheet. Supplier price lists are imported the same way and their changes are flagged with the effect on your margin.

Good to know

  • Every confirmed price keeps who set it and when.
  • Price changes later are a new version of the book, dated and approved. Sent estimates keep the prices they were sent with.
  • You never have to use our prices. Starter services come with units and blank prices.
